Rabby simulates every transaction before you approve it and flags the dapp itself if DeBank's data marks it risky. We connected it to real contracts on Ethereum and BNB Chain to see whether that friction actually stops mistakes MetaMask lets through.
Our verdict
Rabby is free, EVM-only, and built around one idea: show you what a transaction actually does before you sign it, not after. That simulation, plus a built-in approval revoker and a dapp risk flag pulled from DeBank's data, catches mistakes MetaMask's confirmation screen simply does not surface. It is not a multi-chain wallet, so Solana or Bitcoin users need something else alongside it, and the simulation occasionally slows a transaction by a second or two on congested networks. For anyone who signs contracts on Ethereum or its layer twos regularly, that tradeoff is worth taking.

Most wallets ask you to trust a confirmation popup that shows a hex string and a gas estimate. Rabby shows you what the transaction actually does first, in plain terms, and lets you back out before signing anything. We installed it, connected to a handful of live DeFi contracts, and tried to catch it missing something a scam contract would rely on.
What the simulation actually catches
Every transaction runs through a simulation before the sign screen appears. Approve an unlimited token allowance and Rabby states the number plainly instead of hiding it behind a technical value. Interact with a contract DeBank's data has flagged, and a red warning appears on the connect screen itself, before any wallet popup. We tested this against a dapp deliberately, watched Rabby mark it "Flagged by Rabby" with a warning icon, and had to actively click through two separate screens to proceed anyway. MetaMask's default confirmation flow does not do this; it shows a gas estimate and asks you to sign, full stop.
Cleaning up old approvals is one tap away
DeFi users accumulate token approvals the way a browser accumulates cookies. Rabby's built-in revoker lists every open allowance by protocol, Uniswap V3, Aave V3, Lido, Pendle, whatever you have touched, with a checkbox next to each one and a single revoke button at the bottom. We had six open approvals from testing other wallets and cleared four we no longer needed in under a minute, without opening a third-party site like Revoke.cash first.
